AUB Audit Confirmation Portal Terms of Usage

PLEASE NOTE THAT BY ACCESSING THE SITE AND USING THE AUB AUDIT CONFIRMATION PORTAL, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUNDED BY THE BELOW TERMS OF USAGE

1. Disclosure, security and Liability:
   • You acknowledge that AUB may have certain legal record keeping and reporting requirements with respect to the applicable Services.
   • The user information collected through the website may be saved on our secured servers, which are protected by encryption techniques. As a holder and user of this information, you are also required to take the necessary measures to safeguard the misuse or loss of this information.
   • While AUB exercises its best endeavor to gather and obtain the latest customer information, AUB does not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the information provided on its website. Equally, AUB does not guarantee that the customers’ information is up to date. If you find any information that needs to be updated (e.g. CR number, e-mail ID etc.), you are required to inform the Bank immediately.
   • AUB will not be liable in case of any incidental damage or loss of information that may occur due to any unauthorized access to the AUB Audit Confirmation Portal. Further, AUB will not be responsible for non-availability of this service for reasons of your inability to access your online audit request due to computer, email or internet unavailability.
   • By using the Audit Confirmation portal you confirm that the information provided (e.g. Account/CR Number, Company Name, Auditors information etc.) are accurate for the bank to be able to provide the accurate information on the system generated service.
   • The information provided under the submitted Audit Confirmation request (“signed by authorized signatories of the account with the Bank”) on the portal is required to capture the following information accurately (e.g. Account/CR number, Company Name, Auditors information etc.) for AUB to be able to facilitate and send the Audit Confirmation to designated Auditor in the most accurate manner.
   • The Customer & Auditor confirm that the scanned copy of the letter is accurate and signed by the Authorized Signatories. The Customer &/Or the Auditor confirm that the bank will act based on the scanned copy of the letter (attachment to the request) without the need to submit the letter manually.
   • The Customer &/Or Auditor will be responsible for any mis-use of the portal usage.
   • While AUB exercises its best endeavor to gather and obtain the latest auditors information, any update to the information provided to be maintained under the listed of registered auditors in the Audit Confirmation Portal is required to be updated and maintained on a regular basis. AUB does not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the information provided on its website unless updated regularly by the Auditor to the Bank. For any updates on the Auditor’s information, the Auditors are required to provided the bank with the required update/changes allowing the bank (5) business days to reflect the changes in the Audit Confirmation Portal accordingly.
   • User(s) means any person legally authorized by the Customer/Auditor to use the Audit Confirmation Portal and administer and manage its requests on the E-Channels pursuant to the above Disclosure.
2. Promulgating law and jurisdiction:
   • By agreeing to use the AUB Audit Confirmation Portal, the customer agrees that this service (made available for the intended user) depends on the terms and conditions which are governed and will be construed in accordance with the Bahrain Data Protection Law and Central Bank of Bahrain Guidelines.
   • The basis of this service is subject to amendment and updates in the Bahrain Data Protection Law and Central Bank of Bahrain guidelines (new regulations, clarifications or updates from the Central Bank of Bahrain “CBB”)
